BOTTLE CAP CHALLENGE: HOW RUMSEY HALL'S CONTRIBUTING TO OUR PLANET'S HEALTH

In this era of COVID-19, we as a planet are consuming more single-use plastics than ever. That means even more bottle caps are ending up in our oceans. Help us raise awareness and keep bottle caps out of our rivers, lakes, streams, and oceans by recycling caps! As part of the ongoing Million Bottle Cap Challenge, 26,425 bottle caps were collected by Rumsey students and delivered to Sound Waters in Stamford. Bottle caps are dangerous for our planet because many of the tiny plastic pieces end up in our ocean waters. From there, aquatic creatures swallow the objects and get sick or die. Thanks Rumsey for your great efforts!
