Seeking Area Students: 2020 Model United Nations!
HOW IT WORKS: Each student assumes the role of a UN delegate. After researching the political, economic, and diplomatic realities and stances of their chosen countries, students will recreate the structure of the UN, working in committees to debate their positions on today’s most pressing global issues with the goal of collaboratively and creatively passing resolutions. This year, Litchfield area high school students have the opportunity to participate in the World Affairs Council of CT (CTWAC) Model UN for the first time in our conference’s history! Through the support of the Litchfield Education Foundation, CTWAC is offering a special club specifically for area students that will set you up for success in the final virtual conference.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE: 3 live virtual club sessions to guide you through the conference requirements and set you up with the skills needed to succeed. Virtual debates will take place one day after school (from 4:30 to 6:30) between December 1st and December 11th
SIGN UP TODAY! Nstruth@ctwac.org (860)241-6118 www.ctwac.org
